Adding to the many reports, we found 2 CATTLE EGRETS near
Hermiston, Umatilla County, north/central/eastern Oregon. DeLorme
page 85, A7. South of Hermiston on Highway 207, at Buttercreek
Kennels, turn west on MinniHaHa Road. Go a few miles until the
pavement ends, go 50 meters farther. They were on the right with a
few cows. We saw them at noon Saturday, Nov 22. We talked to the
land owner who said they arrived the previous day.
Somebody else reported 2 CATTLE EGRETS Nov 15 about 50 miles
east, north of Milton-Freewater. DeLorme Page 86, A3 where the word
Ferndale is. Most probably different birds.
