On 19 Nov 97, Karen McMains asked for input regarding a web site =
providing information about the orcas in Dyes inlet.
Karen, allow me to steer to you toward the Whale Museum (Friday Harbor, =
San Juan Island) web page at http://whale-museum.org We have been =
monitoring the situation closely over the past couple of weeks. Our =
patrol boat "SOUNDWATCH" has been on station with some of our scientific =
personnel on board during much of this time. We have been filling the =
same role we normally fill all summer up here in the San Juan Islands =
when large numbers of boaters converge on the orcas to get "just a =
little bit closer". =20
