The "L" pod orcas departed from Dyes Inlet and Bremerton yesterday, escourted
out by a phalanx of media helicopters. All the local affiliates aired the
event on the news last night. The whales had been in there for a month, but
yesterday, they took off at full steam without even looking back. So, now
that the Dyes Inlet killer whales appear to have departed to, shall I say,
"safer haven", amidst the increased boater harassment controversy, that
headline or picture caption at yesterday's "grand blooper" Bremerton website
could perhaps have better read:
"Orcas Clubbed out of Dyes Inlet by Angry "Mariners".
"My Oh My!" is right Scott Richardson. LOL. By last night, the website was
gone from the web (no surprise!), but not before I had printed out a hard
copy in living color for future blackmail opportunities.
