There are two distinct noises one can make with the ABC. An irritating
squeaky noise which is very effective for cats and Anna's Hummingbirds
and a sharp Fox Sparrow-like chip which I have found useful in sparrow
patches. I had a really good one that was in natural wood (as opposed
to the red ones they sell now) which I used with good success until it
broke. I has been less successful with the red ones and have pretty much
gone to pishing and hooting exclusively.

Did anyone else see Ray on Oregon Field Guide last night?
