Yes, it is, Howard! In the absence of any clarifying information, I was
curious about the same thing so I headed for Peterson's Field Guide to
Mexican Birds, where Peterson had it as:

Black-fronted (Xantus') Hummingbird, Hylocharis xantusii

Has it been included into the Cynanthus genus since publication?
