An Immature XANTUS'' HUMMINGBIRD has been frequenting a feeder in
Gibsons, British Columbia since at least Tuesday the 18th through the
22nd. From the Horseshoe Bay-Langdale ferry take the highway left to
Gibsons. Turn left onto Gower Point Road and continue to follow the bay
until 2nd Street. Park either at this intersection or up the hill. The
bird hangs out in the yard at 221 2nd street. Please stay on the
pavement and behind the fence. This is the second record of this bird
north of Mexico.

A BLACK PHOEBE was seen on the 20th at the Washougal City Sewage Lagoon
in Clark County. The lagoon is located at Milepost 17.5 on Highway 14.
The bird was seen in the southwest corner of the sewage lagoon and in
the adjacent wetlands to the west.

A CATTLE EGRET and two GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GEESE have been present on
Bainbridge Island for the last few days. These are new species for the
island.
