spend $29 of your hard earned cash and get a copy of
a Photographic Guide to N. American Raptors by Wheeler
and Clark. It has a really good 16 page section on
redtails, including some pix of a rufous morph.

About 3 years ago in OLY at the Nisqually wildlife
Refuge there was a gorgeous male rufous morph..we followed
it around and got many really good looks..it's breast was
about the color of a juvie harrier..stunning bird.
