There are currently 3 records of BLACK PHOEBE in WA as I read through
WASHINGTON BIRDS Vol. 3 in Dec. 1994 in the First Report of the Washington
Birds Records Committee by Tweit and Paulson, who list the first sight
record at Moclips,GH on 27 Feb. 1980 by Robert P. Owen, and the second
record was heard first and later photographed at Clear Lake,YA on 21 May
1989 by George Gerdts and Eugene Hunn, and was present to the 26th of May,
and finally the recent record at the Washougal S.T.P. on 20 Nov.
1997-present? by Wilson Cady.
