The Walla Walla Delta Red-shoulderd Hawk, first discovered in late
September, is still present. We observed the bird today. However, the
location that Hans & Katie described is substantially farther north than
where it has been typically seen.

To find the Red-shouldered Hawk, take Rt 12 south of Pasco to the Walla
Walla Delta. Park at Madame Dorian Park just north of the jct of 12 and
730. The bird likes to roost along the Walla Walla River to the west.

Other birds of interest at the Walla Walla Delta:

4 Harris' Sparrows
1 White-throated Sparrow
1 Red-necked Grebe
1 Winter Wren

Also, today in our yard, we had a very late fall Yellow Warbler. The
previous late record for Yellow Warbler for the TriCities was 9/30.
