Beyond the Black Phoebe, here are some other sightings

--A PEREGRINE FALCON heading south over downtown Vancouver this afternoon.

--A male BELTED KINGFISHER at the junction of River Road and the turn off
to the Generating Plant. This was the same place as a bird two weeks ago.
The bird was there Sunday morning,

--Interesting behavior from a flock of NORTHERN HARRIERS. And I do mean
"flock." Four birds, all female or immature were hunting within 25 feet
of each other, working in a row. A fifth bird was 100 yards from them.

--Other birds at the Washougal Sewage Ponds: Northern Shoveler,
Bufflehead, Mew Gull, Olympic Gull, Mallard, Green-winged Teal,
Pied-billed Grebe, Song Sparrow, Ruby-creowned Kinglet, Canada Goose,
Red-winged Blackbird, Starling
