On my way home this morning from our regular Thursday walk at Marymoor I
saw an adult Northern Shrike. It was in the large open field just to the
south of the 60 Acres soccer fields. This is to the east of Willows Road
in Redmond. The bird was perched in the top of a tree, and was across
from a building labeled Universal Avionics. This is the second year I
have had a Northern Shrike in this location. Happy Thanksgiving, and
good birding.
