Yesterday, Jim Pruske reported seeing a very dark duck at
the Nisqually Wildlife Refuge. He's gone back out there
today in the wind and rain to try and get a better look
at it. He thinks it may be a Black Duck...unless there's
such a thing as a melanistic mallard. The bird was last
seen to the left of the path that goes out toward McCallister
Creek mixed in with about a 1,000 ducks, which included, BTW,
a Eurasian Wigeon.
More news later as it comes in... film at 11:00
