I was watching a couple of Townsend's warblers this morning flitting
around the shrubs where I live on the bluff above the Everett waterfront
when a peregrine came flying in front of me carrying a bird. I watched
the peregrine head toward the log rafting area just north of the 10th
street boat launch. It landed on top of a piling and began eating. I
was able to watch the peregrine with my scope off and on for about 45
minutes while it fed. It was an adult peregrine and the prey was a
gull. After feeding it flew off leaving a little for a couple of crows
to finish off.

Very exciting. The Townsend's were nice too - they came and went
several times while I was checking on the peregrine.
