Sorry, I would have posted details had I known they are/were rare.... :-)

It was apparent they were loons, and also that they indeed, were
Yellow-billed.... They were traveling with an average of two birds,
drifting slowly with the current, occasionally diving for a few seconds,
coming and coming up. It looked as though they were diving just for the fun
rather than trying to catch fish... The Murres (both species) were
traveling together, along the side of the boat , seeming to enjoy the
current it created. Both Loons and the Murres didn't seem to pay much
attention to each other, while instead just "floating" by. One time a Loon
DID come up with a fish, and almost broad sided a Murre for a Sea-gull (
Glacous-winged) knocked the poor Loon of it's balance..... The Glacous then
made of with the Loons catch....
