Kristi Streiffert asked about the places to watch raptor migration in e.
WA.

Of these 4, 2 are "official" Hawk Watch International (HWI)Sites:
Cooper Mt. and Diamond Head. I do not have a complete list of HWI
sites; perhaps they have a web site. The Cooper Mt. HWI site was
advertised by a nice display at the Wintrop Visitor's Center. Slate
Peak is well known for raptor migration and has been considered for a
HWI site (or has been one in the past.) Red Top was just a good guess.
Diamond Head and Red Top would be within 2 hours from Yakima.

Slate Peak: DeLorme, p. 112, B/C3
Cooper Mt. " p. 99, D8
Diamond Head " p. 66, B4
Red Top " p. 66, B2

Hope this answers your questions.
