hello tweetsters.

a friend and birding buddy of mine is planning to take a trip
somewhere -- anywhere -- in october of next year. she says
that her primary interest is to see birds, although she is
especially interested in seeing marine birds (shore birds and
birds of coastal waters and open oceans) and mentioned that
she would really enjoy a pelagic birding trip as part of her
vacation.

of course, discussing this topic with her was really fun, but
we did not come to any conclusions regarding a possible
destination.

since she doesn't have email access at the moment, i will pose
this question to you on her behalf: if you were taking a
vacation alone in october, and you had saved approximately
$4,000-$5,000 (and you wanted to see lots of cool birds while
vacationing), where in the world would you go?

i will pass any and all messages on to her, and i will pass on
her comments, decisions, etc. to you all (unless you don't want
me to do so ... ).

regards,
