Yep. I just saw it between 11:45 & 12:30. There are maybe 1000 Bonaparte's
on the ponds. At first it was not with the bulk of these at the south end of
the main pond, but was lurking with a few hundred Bonies in the north pond.
However, by the time I walked back to the south end of the main pond, there
it was. So it's moving around. There are also at least 4 imm. Franklin's
Gulls with the Bonapartes. I flushed two Lapland Longspurs from the dike
along the east side of the main pond and had maybe 20 Gr. White-fronts fly
over with the more numerous Canadas moving south. A fair number of swallows
for this late date, including 3+ Cliffs, 10+ Violet-greens, and 50+ Barns.
Maybe 4000 Northern Shovelers with much smaller numbers of everything else.
A Merlin, a N. Harrier, and an Osprey for raptors. Those are the highlights.

Gene.
