I know that Townsend's big-eared bats are supposed to seek out the stable
temperatures of caves for the great winter sleep but this does look
interesting and, if these bats stayed for the winter, it would not be
the first time that wild animals have done something that was contrary
to what all the books say they do.

Don, can you at least peek in periodically and keep us posted of what
you see?
