A flock of 36 Greater White-fronted Geese have been at a small man
made wetlands near Enumclaw since 30 September. Also at the pond have been,
Common Snipe (20+), Greater Yellowlegs (intermittent), Widgeon (increasing
numbers daily with a Eurasion with 19 American today), Hooded Merganser,
Pie-billed Grebe, Mallard and Green-winged Teal.
The pond is near the west end of SE 400th. Coming from Auburn (on the
Auburn-Enumclaw Highway) towards Enumclaw turn left (east) on SE 400th and
go 1/2 to 3/4 of a mile to the pond on the left (adjacent to the road).
