Greetings from Juneau where there is termination dust in them hills!

I had an unusual bird (actually a whole small flock) in my yard this
past week. It took me a while to finally identify them as Rusty
Blackbirds. They fit beautifully WHEN I finally found them in the third
book I looked in.

However, what I really am writing about is to gather some advice. I am
planning a birding trip to Washington in February of 1998. I want to
attach an Elderhostel birding trip along with it. There are four that
fit the bill with the right time. They are

1. Sulfur Springs Valley, Douglas, Arizona
2. Ventura Harbor, Ventura, California with a trip to the Channel
Islands
3. Piney Woods, Texas
4. Brownsville, Texas

Which do you think would offer the most to an amateur avid birder?

Thank you all for all the enjoyment and education that you have provided
me. It is always appreciated.
