Dear Mary,
I've been to two of your four Elderhostels, and enjoyed them both very
much: However, if I had to choose between the Texas one and Douglas AZ.
Douglas would win in a walkaway. There are MANY more species of birds in
the area, especially during February--lots of wandering Mexican species,
and Loads of beautiful hummers, besides desert types, gray hawks, etc. too
numerous to mention. The course I had was outstanding!
You'll enjoy whichever you choose, but that is certainly my recommendation.
