Hi Tweeters,
I just returned from a soggy walk along the Everett WTP with Ian
McGregor and Margie Palmer and located the Black-headed Gull. Today it
hung out on the East side of the ponds and was actively feeding with the
many Bonaparte's and three Franklin's Gulls. Other birds of note were:

Bufflehead * These also seem early.There were both males and females

Also note hunting Season has begun and so the parking lot on the road to
Spencer Island was filled this morning. When hunting season begins it
means there are generally more ducks visible on the Ponds but also that
they are more nervous. The west side of the ponds are still closed due
to construction.
