Hello Tweets,

My mother and I observed the Snowy Egret with 3 Great Egrets on the south
side of Bay Center Dike Rd.
in several canals within the large pastures. The weather was quite windy
and heavy rain occured during
our visit. Other species that were present during our stay included:

30 Gr. W.F. Geese
2 Eur. Wigeon
1 V. Rail
300+ B.B. Plovers
12 L.B. Dowitchers
2 Pec. Sandpipers
90 W. Sandpipers
7 Gr. Yellowlegs
65 M. Godwits
2 Bald Eagles
1 Peregrine Falcon
6 L. Longspurs

We also birded the Hoquim S.T.P at 2:30pm in high winds and heavy rain at
times,and observed:

1 Common Loon
1 E. Grebe
1 H. Grebe
1 P.B. Grebe
1 Snow Goose
3 Gr. W.F. Geese
1 Bufflehead
2 Canvasbacks
1 Cinnamon Teal
12 L. Longspurs
