We first saw babies on the 15th of May - there were three, and at that time
they looked to be around the size of chickens. The three young were visible
in/on the nest through mid July. By July 24, the young were seen occasionally
on the branches near the nest. During the first two weeks of August we still
saw one of the young at the nest -- last sighting August 14. So, as far as I
can tell, three young were successfully fledged.

Michael,

I have enjoyed your reports for Marymoor park. I live nearby, but I've
been so busy this year that I hardly get the chance to visit!

I was curious if you know how this year's bald eaglets faired? How many
fledged?

Thanks.

Yours,
