NO, please we do NOT need another bothersome eastern immigrant. (I'm from
Michigan originally, and do make myself bothersome at times.) The stresses
on the native breeding birds in Washington and the west coast is
considerable already. Another egg thief is not a healthy addition to our
avifauna.

What we do need is a concerted effort to rid WA of Eastern gray squirrels,
[eastern] opposums, [eastern] starlings, [eastern] house sparrows,
[eastern] bullfrogs, and eastcoast drivers.

DO consider the different species between the east and west as a wonder of
evolution, not something to lament.
