Blue Jays are rare winter visitors to our area (Richland WA). Our first
observation was 1 individual in Kennewick in April, 1994.

Last year there were multiple reports:

10/96 to at least 2/97 there were 2 birds in North Richland.
2/97 there were 2 birds at the Dalton Lake Habitat Management Unit in
Franklin county.
10/96 there was one bird in Madame Dorian Park at the Walla Walla River
Delta (different individual than the ones in North Richland).
