hi micael,
i dont find it so odd seeing SNOW BUNTINGS and other species coming early
ore showing up in strange places. the high winds and severe rain does
strange thinks to birds where out iever encounter 2RED PHALAROPE on the
sewage ponds.I came only few feet away from them to take photos. birds have
certainly different behavior in stormy weather.allthis years i being
birding, never I saw LAPLAND LONGSPUR not in high grass and so close, is
unbelievably.birding is good, when you can stand bad ore even severe
storms, which brings sometime RARE BIRDS in.
