Hi Tweets,

A friend called me this evening to tell me that Fork-
tailed Storm-Petrels were seen in many different areas of Puget
Sound today. I don't remember exact numbers but it was substantial:
40 or so at Pt No Pt in Kitsap County, numbers off the Edmonds
fishing pier (plus two Ancient Murrelets), and more at Alki Pt in
Seattle. A Brown Pelican was seen from Alki as well. Now's the
time for serious landlubbers to see a Stormie! Hopefully they won't
figure out how lost they are too quickly and we'll all get a chance
to see one (or more).
I'd venture a guess that they will clear out of the Sound
fairly quickly, so tomorrow is probably your best chance.
