Hi Tweets:

To celebrate the fact that it wasn't raining, I birded part of the Snoqualmie
Valley, Sunday, Oct. 12. Of the 33 species the most noteable were the 2
Canvasback at the Pepper Farm ponds, the Belted Kingfisher I saw in my
rear-view-mirror as I passed over the Sikes Lake bridge, 1 deer at Sikes
along with wigeons and shovelers, 1 adult Bald Eagle and Green-winged Teal at
the small pond east of the Nestle (Carnation) Farm, a Pileated Woodpecker
perched high in a dead tree near the Carnation Golf Course, and 22 Greater
White-fronted Geese just lounging around in the grass north of the
Redmond-Fall City Road, on W. Snoqualmie Valley Rd. NE, also referred to as
"meadowlark corner." Didn't see any meadowlarks, though.

Happy Birding!
