Our intrepid associate from Fish & wildlife reported six sightings of
Fork-tailed Storm Petrels (same bird 6 times?) on a boat trip from
Dungenness to Point Wilson on Sunday, Oct. 12th from Noon till 4pm:

one off of the old pier by the 3 Crabs Restaurant
two at 4 miles north of Protection Island
one approx. 300 feet off Beckett Point
two just north of McCurdy Point

They all appeared to be travelling in the same direction (east) as he was.
