I walked around Montlake FIll Yesterday (Sunday). Lots of wintering
sparrows of different kinds, and a smattering of ducks on the main pond.
The highlight was a (newly arrived) adult Northern Shrike being mobbed by a
flock of about 20 Yellow-rumped Warblers (N. end of the main pond). Guess
the warblers don't know that the shrike is listed in the passerine section
of my bird guide book...
