I also saw--or rather, heard more than saw--a kingfisher busy at Tradition
Lake (Tiger Mtn, while I was walking along the powerline road). Spotted
one also UNDER the west end of I-90 (eastbound lanes) as we rowed
recently. The bird was very busy going back and forth from the bridge to
the little park/boat launch on shore. It was getting dark so I couldn't
make out what he was carrying in his mouth.
