Jim,

Dennis Paulson states in his book "Shorebirds of the Pacific Northwest"
that there has been one sighting on this side of the Pacific, "a
juvenile in the western Aleutian Islands in early September and is of
unlikely occurrence in the Northwest. His book was published in 1993
and I have not heard him mention that species as being submitted to the
Washington bird records committee, though there are others out there who
would know better than I.
