Tweets,
Birded Nisqually today, and while the afternoon was quite the morning was
full of suprises. Here it goes:
At the parking lot at 7:45 am a Hermit thrush (seems early ?)
Scott, I saw one Sept. 11 this year at Marymoor, and three in the San Juans on
different islands during the third week of September. I would think this
would be towards the end of the usual time to see Hermits at low elevation
(though not yet "late").
<snip>
Next we had a Cliff Swallow fly over on the Ring-dike trail (seems extremely
late???).
Scott - this one would be very late - a full 8 weeks later than my latest
Marymoor sighting. Are you sure it wasn't a barn swallow with a short tail?
