Me, too. A Red-necked Grebe still bearing most of its summer wear hung out
beside a pair of winter-plumage Horned Grebes in East Bay at mid day. A couple
of Pied-billed Grebes rested in the distance. With last Monday's Western, it's
a good start to the grebe season here. Now if I could just spy a Clark's.
