Paced two Trumpter Swans as they flew to Clear Lake
(Northwest of Mt. Vernon, WA about 3 miles) this evening
about 6:00pm. This is the earliest we've sighted them
in our neck of the woods - usually it's much closer to
Halloween. Nice to seem them back again!

Any bets on when/if/how-many Snowy Owls will return to
the Skagit Valley this winter?
