Hi Tweets,

I was talking to Karen Irving this evening and she says the COMMON
EIDER--which has spent the last several months in pre-Alternate 1 molt off
the Iona South Jetty--is now along the Stanley Park shoreline at Ferguson
Point/Third Beach on the park's W side along with about 3,000 Surf Scoters.
Should be pretty easy to find: there's a lot of white on it now.

Also there were 10 Black Oystercatchers (BLOY). Though BLOY aren't supposed
to be migratory, every year there's a spike (15-20) of them in mid-October
along either the West Vancouver or Stanley Park rocky foreshores.
