According to AviSys birding software, the bandcode for California Towhee is
CALT and CANT for Canyon Towhee.

Also, speaking of Red-breasted Sapsuckers, I've seen them in my yard in May,
July, and Oct. 1997. Saw one at the Redmond Watershed Preserve Oct. 16th.
