That sounds like me. I was there with a Celestron 25x (fixed power, not
zoom). With a nice Bogen tripod and tax it was around $540 at Captains
Nautical Supply. I believe the scope was in the 300-350 range by itself.
Captains prices tend to be on the high side, so it could probably be had for
less mail order. I would imagine the model may have been discontinued, but
I'm sure they have other similar scopes in the Celestron line.

I've been very happy with it.
