It's true: urban Olympia has (had?) an American White Pelican.
Yesterday's report came from Nikki McClure. Credit where due.
Michael Carmody saw it this morning and let me know where to look. He was
right.
At 10:30, the pelican was at the north end of East Bay Marina, perched among
gulls (Lilliputian) on "A" dock, visible clearly from the public-access dock at
the boat ramp.
