Then from the Rocky Point survey point at the S end of Vancouver Island,
Michael Shephard writes:

How neat if this were the same bird, to be able to follow its course through
the winter and back to the Arctic. Even if one gyr doesn't make a migration
pattern, it does support the idea of earlier migration on the coast. Eyes
peeled next year!
