Yesterday, on a 5:50 ferry ride from Kingston to Edmonds, I saw a group
(flock?) of 7 Jaegers flying north. I looked at each one briefly and am
sure they were all Jaegers (not Heerman's Gulls, although there were a
number of HEGU in the area). I was able to see the thin pointed central
tail feathers on three of them, making them Parasitics, I guess. Then they
were gone. All three with the obvious long tail feathers were 'light'
phase...the others were darker overall...or maybe my attention was just
drawn to the lighter birds...

I did not spot any Petrels.
