You're invited...
On Saturday, 25 Oct, I will be at East Bay, Olympia, from 10 to noon. Anyone
may stop by. We'll welcome back the first wintering waterbirds and keep our
eyes peeled for any unusual species that might be around (pelican? willet?).
Beginning birders welcome: start to learn the differences between all those
dark-and-light floating birds.
Experienced birders welcome: learn about Sound Waterbird Monitoring and
consider taking part in a "citizen science" project for Puget Sound.
I'll have a limited number of _East Bay Bird Guides_ to hand out.
Stop by anytime, briefly or for a while.
Take exit 105B off I-5 and follow the signs toward the Port of Olympia.
Parking is available at East Bay Marina and elsewhere along East Bay. I/we will
be wandering, so look around for binoculars.
