Saturday, 10/25/97 9:24 p.m. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. This is an
addendum to my last message, which will be the next one you hear. The
LITTLE GULL up at Rosario Head is actually a second year bird, which is
depicted in the National Geographic Guide, but only on the "gulls in
flight" page. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Saturday, 10/25/97 7:03 p.m. Hi, this is Steve Mlodinow. Ted Peterson
and Dennis Duffy and I went off in search of BROWN BOOBY this morning and
did not see it, and via Bob Morse [it] apparently was not seen later in
the day from Diamond Point as well. We then went through part of Whidbey
Island in the afternoon with the main highlight being a PECTORAL SANDPIPER
at Swantown. Then at Rosario Head around 3:00pm we saw the LITTLE GULL,
along with Gary Blecht. There were also a couple ANCIENT MURRELETS in the
area, and that was about it. Good luck and good birding.

Saturday, 10/25/97 8:08 a.m. Hello, this is Craig Kemper, 206.789.9255,
reporting for Friday Oct 24th in Skagit County at Rosario Head. Between
2:30 and 3:00 p.m. one LITTLE GULL was observed at the foot of the head in
the kelp beds. The bird flew in a Northeast direction to the two smallest
rock islands nearest the coast to the north. Also in the vicinity were 9
ANCIENT MURRELETS. Thank you.

Friday, 10/24/97, 10:03 p.m. Hi, this is Jim Flynn at 206.772.5568. This
morning at 9 a.m. there was a GREAT EGRET at the pond on the Old Longacres
site in Renton. That's it. Thanks.
