Tweets,
I have just read the transcription of the SAS RBA. From that one would
conclude that the YBLO was near Protection Island. It actually was in Island
County at Minor (not sure of spelling) Island which is just east of Smith
Island. It was a nice breeding plumaged bird very close to the boat. The
first to sight it, as far as I know, was Roger Risley who was the naturalist
giving the commentary over the loudspeaker system. Paul Conklin, Ruth
Sullivan and I were all on the trip hoping to see the BROWN BOOBY and we all
saw it well. A nice consolation prize.
