The Montlake Fill is University Property and has been designated a Research
Natural Area (or something to that effect). It is managed under the
direction of a special committee chaired by a faculty member of the Center
for Urban Horticulture (543-8616). An extensive file of materials on the
fill, most notably the original EIS prepared in part by Dennis Paulson, is
on file at the Center for Urban Horticulture. The committee would be pleased
to be informed of instructional and/or research uses to which it is put.
