Why do you think those ibises go pale in the first place? Mwahahaaaaa,
birders tremble, white-faced as the ibises '-)

'Wrath', hey? I *like* it. Maybe I'll dress up as Elijah tonight for
trick-or-treating. If there's no treat I'll just get Jehovah to sing back-up
on that old Sondheim tune, 'Send in the Bears' '-) Or dress up as one of the
yuckky aliens from Independence Day; if I don't get enough chocolate, I'll
atomise Nevada.

Seriously, I'm just suggesting an open mind for this kingbird stuff, the
same kind that recently turned an 'aberrant Western Gull' people had been
looking at for a number of years where it came to winter into a conventional
but *really* extralimital Kelp Gull, an ID that had been completely
impossible by the previous assumption. There *may* need to be a reappraisal
of a couple of Lesser Black-backed Gull records as the possibility of one of
those outre Eurasian Herring Gull races (heuglini, in one instance) has
arisen. Fun stuff like that.
