I was visiting relatives in Saint Helena in California's Napa Valley years
ago. The riparian oak woods in the ravines on the W side of the valley SW of
the town were lousy with Nuttall's Woodpecker and the vireo (Bell's?) which
sings the clenched-teeth song.
