Tweets,
I skipped down to the arboretum Monday evening, before the WOs meeting and
saw the warbler, three of us saw the bird and identified it as a female
Black and White Warbler. I saw the other bird twice last winter and since
it was also a female my gut reaction would be a defient yes that this is
the same bird, the chances of another black & white warbler returning to
the exact spot as the one seen last winter would be phemoninal odds. One
of the really neat things was one of the people who saw the bird monday
evening when I was there had tried 5 times last winter and missed it every
time. So it was a lifer for him. The bird was found with about 10 BC
Chickadees, so I would listen for a chickade flock and investigate. Good
luck to anyone who tries!
