I raced out to the sewage ponds after work today to see the phalaropes.
I could see about 100 through the fence. Unfortunately, I wasn't
allowed to go in because some construction work is going on. So if you
are making a trip to get into the ponds, unless you can pull some
strings, you won't be allowed in even if you have a pass and promise you
will stay away from the construction.
